2 Sacs No Heartbeats Yet?

by sandra
(merced)

I went to get a vaginal ultrasound done, the tech saw two sacs but still no heartbeats, one of the sacs is smaller... maybe not fully developed. Should I worry? I dont want to worry if I don't need to.

twin pregnancy NEW

I am now 10 weeks, at 8 weeks I had my first ultrasound and the tech showed me the baby, I had a feeling there were twins so asked, he showed me an empty sac with a yolk sac in it. He asked if I could do a vaginal ultrasound because my uterus is tilted back and he wanted to see if he could see the other baby. Unfortunatly he couldn't and it has been determaned this is a non viable twin. This breaks my heart and I feel a little cheeted just because I had dreams of them and felt there were two from the begining. I am praying the doppler picks up two heartbeats at my first midwife appt in a couple weeks and that twin b was to far back to see as he was complaining that he couldn't get the screen to be bright enough.

I was wondering how far along you were when you had your u/s. I had one yesterday because of cramping on left side 6 weeks LMP. One gestational sac found measures 5 weeks no hb, another possible sac found smaller. The doctor said it wasn't positive of twins. The tech said it could be blood from implantation. I have been ttc for 10 years and was concerned measuring small. This has me more worried as I can't find anyone with a similar story. The doctor seemed to think it wasn't and things would be fine. If anyone has a similar story please share!

How far along you? I was 5 weeks when the doctor found my twins. One sac was empty and much smaller than the other and the other baby measured smaller than 4 weeks. The doctor said I would most likely miscarry the smaller empty sac, but he wanted to see me back in a week. when I went back the following week he found two babies with two heartbeats and they both measured fine. I am now almost 15 weeks pregnant and doing great both babies are actually measuring big. So hang in there you may not be far enough along yet.
