Are The Sacs Measuring Small For 5 Weeks?

by Kayra

I had my first ultrasound at 4 weeks & 1 day, where 1 sac was seen measuring 2.7mm.
A week later, at 5 weeks & 1 day, I had a second scan where two sacs were found. Measuring 4.5mm & 3mm. Are these too small for 5 weeks since LMP? I tracked my ovulation date which was cycle day 15. Making the twins 3 weeks by the second ultrasound.
I had 5 days of brown spotting hence the number of ultrasounds.

No H/B was detected yet & I don't think their yolk sacs were either, but I have a follow up scan in 9 days time.

Is everything that I'm experiencing normal?
Thank you...

Normal?

Not sure if you could call all of this "normal", but I think spotting is pretty common during any pregnancy. You would have to ask a professional about the sizes of the sacs. What does your doc say about it?
