Are You Pregnant?

I am 37 weeks pregnant with my twin girls who are predicted to be big babies so I'm very big and still get asked, "oh are you pregnant". My favorite response is, No I ate some watermelon seeds and drank lots of water and my belly just blew up. That and i hate when you tell people you're havng twins it's never you look good for having twins it's either you're so big or your so small for twins. People just make up your mind and I don't care if you think I'm big or not, you really don't have to tell me.

 Yeah... but...

My boyfriend and I were out of town for the weekend I am 17 weeks with twins right now and insanely huge... Someone asked (at a baby store.... yes, really) if I was expecting. I said "Yeah... but I'm still not 100% sure they are mine. If they turn out not to be mine I am droppin' this guy!" I enjoyed that so much the next person who asked I said "Yes! And thank GOD I found this Shmoe on the street to help me raise them!" (fortunately my bf has a good sense of humor.) I wonder if I will be brave enough to try this in my smallish home town...

Ha. I was buying a maternity bra in my local M&S and asked the assistant about sizing and she asked me how far gone is the woman you're buying for. I looked down at my 5 month with twins bump and looked back at her and said its for me!

Oh thank you for this blog! I just posted about the same issue except I am fat LOL But I am sorry people are just so insensitive and RUDE! but it is so nice to hear you have a sense of humor about it!
