Aren't You Too Young To Have Twins?

Of course pre pregnancy

Of course pre pregnancy

A woman at a graduation party actually asked, "but aren't you too young to have twins?" Which I answered with a, "Aren't you too old to be asking rude questions?" Due to the fact that I am 17 years old, married and expecting, a lot of women think they are doing me a favor by feeling bad for me which is ridiculous because this is my dream life. Having two identical boys was just an added blessing :)

i'm 16 years old and expecting twins! i'll be 17 when they get here, but i've been asked the same thing!!

i think people are just dumb, age doesn't effect like if you can have twins, or not.

thank you alot for that!! I appreciate the thought. JUst so you know I had my twins the 23rd of november and it was two boys weighing at 4lbs 12oz and 4lbs 13oz both perfectly healthy and we got to go home thanksgiving. Please tell your daughter that its really hard and to not to try to stupidly be super mom like I have and accept help when she can.I've cried more than I ever thought I would....... But that's because gabriel smiled at me for the first time yesterday!!!!! :) everything is awesomely worth it even thoug I didn't forget how hard the pregnancy was regardless of what everyone said.....

of course...
by: ectastic Gma to be!

I am expecting my first grandchildren, twins.

My daughter is only nineteen. She must have skipped that box on the application where it asked if she was old enough to handle twins!?!? She will have as hard a time as any new mom with more to love. It is all I can do to not get angry for her when the stupid comments fall out of other peoples face. She's a bright, beautiful, and capable woman. She will be wonderful with her new babies and do fine. I suppose it's the mommy in me that makes me so protective of her. I cant understand why anyone would want to distress a pregnant woman and how can they be so rude. We are learning to laugh and try to see the humor in the rudeness. Thanks for giving us some other insight and ways to laugh about it.

Exactly!

Everybody thinks that when girls get the instinct to become a mother at such a young age it's because they want to grow up to fast but its not! Back in the beginning of human civilization girls were married off by 14 and expected to fulfill a womans duties! We would still be capable of those mothering and nurturing skills if society didn't dumb us down.
(NOT THAT I WANT TO START MARRYING GIRLS OFF AT 14!) LOL that would be a bit extreme
