Have you ever caught yourself making simplistic assumptions about twins? Most curious people do. Here are common questions I am asked and how I respond...

"Are you identical or fraternal?"
I'm identical.

"Do you look in the mirror and confuse yourself with your twin?"
Do you look in the mirror and confuse yourself with your bro/sis?

"If I pinch you, will your twin feel it?"
Yes, because we have separate bodies, right? Remember!!

"Which one is older?"
We're the same age. Minute-wise, I am.

"Which one is the good/smart one?"
That is a matter of opinion.

"Do you have your own secret language?"
Jib-jab-joob. Oops, I forgot you don't know it.

"Do you think the same thing at the same time?"
Yes, she's thinking that there's pizza stuck to her chin. NO OF COURSE NOT!
