I'm not alone

I thought I was alone in this discussion. My doctor said he say two sacs, but could only find one heartbeat. So, he said we were treating this as a one baby pregnancy. I have a history of miscarriages. Actually, I had two in less than six months only 1 year ago. He added I could have miscarried then immediately got pregnant, or became pregnant again immediately after getting pregnant. So, we will see. I was 6 weeks at that time and will go back at 10 weeks. Thanks for sharing your stories.

Well, same thing is happening with me except my doctor thinks the babies are in the same sac and couldnt see the second baby really well- it was a little smaller then the first baby and he couldn't find a heart beat :/
Im worried sick because I had a NTD in my last pregnancy and had to end the pregnancy. Now I am hoping that the twins are fine- although I feel like they are I am very worried. The doctor said not to worry and to go back for another Ultrasound next week :(

Same happened to me.

My 5 and 6 week ultrasounds were iffy as we had 2 sacs but could really only see one heartbeat. By 7 weeks we could detect both heartbeats. One baby was just harder to see.

im not sure but i think you need to be at least 8 weeks to get a good read on an ultrasound for twins.
