Eating For Three

by Bianca
(Florida)

Well, I am now 22 weeks pregnant and I feel that I don't eat enough for my babies. Mainly because my family doesn't think I do. They're always telling me to add a little more to my plate. So, I just wanted to know how much I should eat and how often since I'm eating for not only my self, but my twins.

I am only 18 weeks, but most of the time I don't feel like eating a lot. I usually ate a little bit before the pregnancy and now it seems the little monsters are already pushing all the room out of all the other organs, both the stomach and the bladder suffer the worst. My dr doesn't seem to worry and the babies seem to be growing just fine.

I got told that i didnt eat enough also, I am carring twins.. I did lose weight at the begging because of getting sick all the time. but i couldnt keep anythign down. I am now 32 weeks and the babies are right around 4 lbs each. Damn im in pain but.. what do u expect. they are perfect little girls rite where they are supposed to be and so.. Just tell them that u cant eat much because of your babies pushing up on your stomach. (you can only fit so much food and 3 babies in your stomach) I eat little meals. a couple times a day.

Make sure you're eating the right things. I ate several smaller meals each day. I never had morning sickness though but I'd eat probably every 2-3 hours during the day and LOTS of water. You're in the bathroom every 5 minutes of course. Don't miss that. Check with your doctor.
