How Do You Breastfeed Twin Babies?

How do you breastfeed twin babies? Short answer, one at a time. Long answer, you put 2 pillows on your legs and place a baby on each pillow and breast feed them both at once. I saw this in the book "what to expect when you're expecting". they have a visual pic too.

Yeah,

I usually point out that I have two breasts and so God made it so I could feed two mouths simultaneously...

then I have relatives that are in the non-BF generation who don't understand how the whole supply/demand thing works...so I find myself explaining that who scenario because they're worried that I won't have enough milk for two...

Breastfeeding my twins for over a year now

at the same time on a twin nursing pillow. i couldn't do it for the first month of their little lives *nurse at the same time, that is* but once they got bigger, it became the "norm". it is so much easier & faster too! I've done it for over a year now. i wrote about it on my blog. if anyone is interested in reading more...
