I was nervous about not being able to tell apart my girls but I really don't have a problem. A couple of times I have had to look twice but for the most part I can tell them apart. Many people ask me how I tell them apart - so I guess they really appear similar to people who do not see them all the time but you will know. But if you really have a problem...paint their toenail (no one will ever see it). I don't believe in assigning colors... Also look for freckles or birthmarks - One of my daughters has a freckle on her left ankle so if I was desperate...then I would check out the ankle! Good luck.

It sounds like you are a bit worried about being able to tell your twins apart if they're identical. This is a common concern for new parents of twins. But, don't fret too much, as I have yet to meet a parent who had a real problem identifying who is who.
