How Late In Twin Pregnancy Can You Travel By Car For Vacation?

We go to the beach every year on the Fourth of July. I will be 28 weeks then and it will be a 6 hour drive. I haven't asked my doctor yet...but, just wanted to know what others' doctors have recommended.

That's what I'm hoping to hear as we are praying for an uncomplicated pregnancy as well! I think I will need the upcoming "last" break as I also have a 14-month old ...he loves the beach too!

We drove 10 hours to Myrtle Beach when I was 26 1/2 weeks and my doctor was fine with that. He just recommended that we stop every 2-3 hours and stretch/walk and make sure I was well hydrated. My twin pregnancy has been uncomplicated, so my OB was ok with me being so far from home. Just make sure you know where a good hospital is located. :) Have fun and enjoy one last trip. :)
