I Never Thought I Would Have Twins!

I am 18, a mother to be of two baby girls. We found out I was pregnant at 6 weeks. We were exited!

I talked with my sister-in-law cause she was pregnant with her 3rd. She referred me to her Doctor. My brother joked saying I'm going to have two... After going to the doctor a couple times he told me that I was bigger then he thinks I should be. He says "Do you think there's twins?" Me and my boyfriend laughed. He then scheduled an ultrasound to check for twins. We were in shock. We couldn't wait the 2 weeks to find out.

The ultrasounds showed two babies... I'll never forget the feeling I got when I seen them both. My heart melted, I was exited and scared at the same time.

I'm now 21 weeks and used to the thought of twins. I'm very exited! But, I'm also very nervous about having them early, the health their going to be in and all the things that can go wrong...Are they in the same sac?...What can I do to help them? I've not had any problems in my pregnancy besides the morning/evening sickness. All I can do is hope and pray they are healthy.

Congrats on having twins!
Just wondering tho, have you not had more ultrasounds to determine was kind of twins they are?
My first ultrasound they were very determined to find out if they had 2 placentas and sacs, or 1 placenta 2 sacs, or 1 and 1.
Turns out mine are identical (1 placenta 2 amnitoic sacs) but my doctor has been giving me monthly ultrasound to check their growth. Not trying to scare you, but its important to know!

Glad everything is going well and Congrats again!
