Mono Mono Twins (girls)

When I first found out I was pregnant I was 9 weeks. I had scheduled an OB appt at the hospital. I was then set up for and ultrasound on Nov 1st, 2012. My fiancé and I went to the appt. I was under the impression I was having one baby. The tech set up and started the ultrasound she looked at the screen like something was wrong and said to me that your having twins! I said what? Twins?! I took a moment to let it sink in. I was so amazed and happy during the ultrasound it looked like they were hugging each other. They were busy. She also said to me that she couldn't find a membrane.

The next time I went to the doctor they told me I had mono mono twins. My doctor explained to me the risk and that this was rare and told me when I turned 24 weeks they were going to admit me into the hospital.

I continued on and when my 24th week came everything was going fine so they told me at 26 weeks that they will be admitting me into the hospital. Two weeks before I was suppose to be admitted I had a non stress test and baby B's heart rate took a dip during the test but came right back to what they call normal. I was then admitted on Feb 1, 2013.

I am currently still in the hospital (March 6, 2013) on bed rest getting monitoring every 8 hours for an hour or more. I am 31 weeks and 3 days. They scheduled my c section for Monday!! So my baby girls will be here!

Who stood strong in faith and refused to give up
Or give in.
Congrats to you all.You aré so blessed.
I count it à blessing to be a mother of multiples.
Yeppie....Praise God !

Am currently in my 23rd week with mono-mono
Twin girls.I have been well informed about the
Perculiarity of this pregnancy by my doctors.
However, I remember I have a Heavenl'y Father
That is strong, powerful, faithful and is well able
To finish all what He's started.

My advise, stay positive,be optimistic, and be rest
Assured that God is faithful !

In the meantime, I am enjoying my glorious journey towards having my beautiful girls and gradually
Counting down to becoming à proud mum of FIVE godly
Children.

I was just reading a Blog because I am also a mother of momo twins. I happen to run across your story and I could you not your story is I'm most identical to my story. Dates and allthe only difference I delivered on a Sunday at 31 weeks and 6 days. Now my little MoMo twins are five years old and I still remember it like it was yesterday.

 Expecting Twins

Hi,
I am happy to read other mums experience who are expecting mono mono twins. I am 16 weeks plus and expecting mono mono twins. So far my girls are growing equally and i am praying they do until the end. I wonder if there are any mums out there who had natural birth? Congrats to all the new mums and good luck to those expecting.

 triplets two are mono mono twins

Hi , i'm. In my seven week now. We just have my first ultrasound done. I'm having triplets two of them are mono mono. I'm preg after 11 Years And I have my baby with ICSI. I'm afraid of my mono mono twins baby. Due to the reason that I live in Pakistan. I'm not sure what kind of help I'll get here. I don't want to loose any of my babies. Any advise will be appreciate
