7 week ultrasound. This was the second scan where we saw the two sacks. Both sacks continue to grow and Sack A had a HB and sack 2 we can't see/tell anything about due to it being crazy fuzzy/foggy in there. I have a major retrograde uterus, which is causing problems with seeing it. My OB says it's just going to vanish. I'm still holding out hope, because I feel like we can't see anything to just disreguard it just yet. We can't get a clear picture and even with Sack A it was after 10 minutes that we finally saw the baby and got the HB.

Just an update.. When we scanned at 8w4d, there were 2 HBs Baby A at 176 and Baby B at 160. Also Both babies were measuring 8w4ds :)

I had a scan at 6 weeks and another at 10 weeks. For both scans I was told that there was 1 sac with a HB and the other seemed empty and no HB. 2 days ago I had another scan (14 weeks) and there it was!!!! So now there are 2 sacs and 2 babies!!!!

Anything is possible and we of course will hope for the best but I personally feel like it is too soon to say that it is even a possibility for vanishing twin. It is possible for one twin to be as much as an entire week behind the other so in that case, you may not be able to see that baby or heartbeat clearly enough yet at 7 weeks. I am sure they will see the other baby at a later scan. Best wishes.
