Needs Lots Of Sleep
by: Jennifer

I agree with everyone else! I am 8 weeks 1 day with twins and I am exhausted! I can never seem to sleep or sit around enough! As for the boss thing, I agree. My boss and everyone else at work seems like their mad at me because I cant work the 50 hour weeks and do the things I used to! Now Im barely working 40 and can hardly stand to be on my feet for 9 hours a day. All I want to do is sleep, the 6th and 7th week was rough, because I had constant morning sickness, now that that has seem to subside, Ive got the cramps in my lower belly and too tired to do much of anything!

always tired
by: Anonymous

Im 10w/4days with twins and have never been soo tired in my life! I knew I was having because everyone told me I was... I have 5 children and I got big really fast with this pregnancy. I do inhome daycare and have between 5-6 kids everyday, my youngest is 2 so she is home with me during the day as well. Im up every morning at 630am, the kids eat lunch at 11am and go down for nap from 1145-2pm this is also my nap time and it really helps me get through the day.. My husband is home around 530pm with our other children whom we enrolled in after school programs because I dont have the energy to handle soo many kids. My daycare kids are all gone by 6pm and im usually in bed by 8pm... I eat non-stop and drink sooo much water juice and milk that I pee every 20mins... Thank God my husband is soo much help I would be lost without him!

Get to bed early
by: Julie

I'm 19 weeks now and all my symptoms of pregnancy have been magnified compared to my previous singleton pregnancy, I thought the tiredness might have worn off like the sickness did now I'm in my 2nd trimester but no, some days I feel like I've run a marathon, and it's all i can do to keep my eyes open, which isn't wonderful when you have a 2 yr old running around ha ha. Thats the joys I guess with a twin pregnancy, but it'll all be worth it in the end.

Glad it is not just me!
by: Sara

At first it was morning sickness, then it was cramps, and now it seems that I am constantly tired at 10 weeks. I can't always nap, but when I can, I rest horizontally and zone out to the tv. I love any weekend where I can spend a whole day on the couch. I know that sounds pathetic but I have to or else I won't make it through the work week. And once during the workweek, I went to my car and took a nap. It is rough!

I also forgot to mention acne. Around the 7th week my face just exploded! I've been using benzoyl peroxide so it is better now but my goodness!

I know the feeling
by: Coolrelax2

I feel the same way - this is my first pregnancy and I just found out last week that I'm having twins. The fatigue is ridiculous - it's like the power switch gets turned to "off" at a moments notice, lol. I just thought it was normal, but I guess we're bout twice as tired as singleton pregnancies.

Sleeping Forever
by: shelly

I am 6 weeks pregnant and people have been telling me i am going to have twins. I think I am also. This is my 8th pregnancy and i have never been this exhausted b4. I camn hardly stay awake and when i try and force myself to it seems to make it worse. I have never slept so much ever. I am not having morning sickness with this pregnancy... but it is the extreme fatigue that really makes me wonder if this is twins.

Your not alone
by: Anonymous

Your not alone- I am 20 weeks, stay at home mom of a two year old and expecting twin boys, and am always exhausted. It get's better as the weeks go on, but some days are harder than others. Get your sleep and be sure to eat when you are hungary and drink loads of water!

naps
by: kristan

keep yourself hydrated and take short frequent naps..when i was pregnant with my b/g twins i felt like i couldnt get out of bed some days. i would just get up take a nice long hot shower, drink drink drink, and when i got too tired just napped when i could. youll always feel tired, but the naps and rest will do wonders hope this helps! good luck! it will all pay off =]

Fatigue buster
by: Natalie

I agree with everyone else. It is perfectly normal to be more tired with twins, and the best thing to do is rest. My hubby and I have talked and agreed on things that need to get done and what can fall to the wayside. He has even gotten to where he knows I need to get a nap without me saying so.

nutrition
by: beth laf

PERFECTLY NORMAL!!this will abate when sometime a little bit around 4 months, it will come back at the end of pregnancy though in the meantime , make sure youre taking your prenatals ,the iron anemia will not help with energy, as well as try to make sure youre eating enough protein

sleep
by: jenni

Sleep is the only thing that helped me, I would sleep all the time I felt like a teenager again lol. I first knew something wasnt right when i was tired all the time turns out i was 5 weeks along at that point. I am now 17w 2d and I feel better, now if this pesky morning sickness would just go away.
