We were blessed to carry twin boys and enjoyed each day through our rocky pregnancy. When our 5 & 6 pound baby boys were born last August, baby A, who we named Eli, had complications (Spina Bifida) so bad that we made the choice to take him off of life support. We just celebrated their 1st birthday this week at the cemetery with the sock monkey cake had invisioned for our twin boys 1st birthday, only different because we were missing one of our twins. So we celebrated anyways: with a sock monkey cake, one having angel wings.

Thank you for sharing your story. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. Your bravery and perspective on the passing of your son is inspiring. I am pregnant with twin girls; and I feel blessed to have read about your amazing journey. The Angel wings are such a wonderful and fitting tribute to Eli.
