Twin Pregnancy Abdominal Pain

by Tara

I am 14 1/2 weeks pregnant with twins. I am having severe pains through my abdominal area and lower back. Is this normal? I have consulted a doctor, but I am curious about what others are experianceing. This pain will knock me to my knees.

Always uncomfortable
by: Rebecca

I had such bad back pain last week I went to the hospital. Since everything checked out okay the doc thinks I pulled or tore a ligament or muscle. I've also been having this tightness around my stomach I'm assuming round ligaments or I think might be babies pushing and moving, but it hurts and makes my back hurt too. It is not cool. I'm either uncomfortable or in straight up pain constantly. I'm 27 weeks with boy girl twins.

Twin Pregnancy

Y'all scaring me...I could be 3 weeks 4 days according to the calender. My partner is so sure that I'm prego but i'm waiting for my period. I've been having most of the symptoms like sore breast, headaches, nausea, abdomen pain for 5 days now and slightly light headed.

Good to know ladies, I'm 16 weeks and 3 days and today I think I experienced my first ligament pain. It was only on my right side just below my belly and it made me want to curl up.

I am 16 weeks and I am having the same pain I was at work and they just wouldn't go away I tried taking a warm shower but that didn't work so I found that the best thing was to lay down with your feet up with a warm towl on the area

Abdominal Pain

I had the same thing you had which is Round Ligament pain. To me it felt like Kidney Stones!! My doctor told me that it was round ligament pain which is normal. But I was only 4 weeks when I had mine and only thing that helped was taking a shower and letting the water hit me.

Oh yeah
by: Cinda

My pain started around 12 weeks or so. Oh yeah, it can make you want to do nothing more than to lie in the fetal position and cry. Its just round ligament pain, or the stretching of the muscles. Today was a horrible day, I couldn't figure out which hurt worst during work today, my belly or my back, and then my legs decided to kick in too. Its normal and tylonel and a heating pad or a warm bath are the best ways to deal with it also laying down is supposed to help.

don't worry, it's normal
by: bianca

well i was feeling the same way, an i still am.the pain is normal. its really caused by the babies sitting on our bladder. which makes us feel so much pain in the abdominal area. but dont worry, the pain comes an goes but it wont last forever.
