Twin Pregnancy at 38 Weeks + 2 Days

This is me 2 days before scheduled section to deliver fraternal twin boys! They weighed in at a massive 9 lbs and 7 lbs 3ozs!!!

This is my third pregnancy, and I now have a family of 4. My oldest child was only 9lbs 1oz at 40 weeks, so that was a piece of cake compared to carrying these two monsters. In total I only gained 32 lbs, so they must have consumed ALL my calories ;)

Thanks for comments. Babies are 5 months now, and an absolute dream. I feel so proud to be a twin mummy, it really is magical. x

Blooming nora, lovely weights though, but you did look huge, Congratulations and well done !!!!
Being a Twin Mummy is very rewarding, can be hard work, and most definitely tiring in the first few months, but above all very very enjoyable,.
My Fraternal boys got to 37wks and 3 days and weighed 5lb 4oz & 4lb 15oz, one blonde hair blue eyes, one dark hair brown eyes but very similar facialy, Lovely enjoy your boys xxx

very similar to me...I had my section at 38 weeks and my boys weighed 9lbs 7ozs and 6 lbs 9 ozs..they are now 2 1/2 years old and 1 is still bigger than the other..congrats & best of luck!!!!!!!!!
