Our two tiny babies seen clearly in their own sacs

I went in for an early ultrasound thinking I may be losing our baby as I'd miscarried last year. It turned out that the additional pains etc that I was feeling was because there were two babies there! Yes Fraternal twins that run in our family (twins and triplets on my mum's side and twins on my dad's side). Not to mention I'm a first time mum at 36 so I really didn't stand a chance did I !!

Yes I thought it was an awesome shot. The Ultrasound lady did great. Was very easy to see and to show people.

I've had so much fun saying to people have a look at this and as they are saying "oh wow you're pregnant" I say "have a closer look at the ultrasound" and then I wait for the draw to drop and say "OH TWINS???".

I have an 8 weeks can tomorrow. Excited and nervous all at the same time.

Last time the 8 week scan was great and we discovered at the 12 weeks that I'd had a missed-miscarriage at 10w ... so that was very heartbreaking.

Am keeping all fingers and toes crossed that we are blessed with much better luck this time around.

I'm so happy for you. I went in last week but was only 31 days from when Implantation occured and doctor just believed was way to early to see anything. So I have an appointment in 3 weeks.

Twins run on my mom and dads side of the family.
Moms side my Great-Grandmother was a Fraternal Twin.

Dad side Grandmother had 12 kids and in the 12 had two sets of twins. Fraternal and Identical. I'm also 37 years old on my second pregnancy and I did not have the pains and symptoms as I did with my daughter 3 years ago. So I believe I'm have either Twins or Triplets. I look like I'm 5 months pregnant so big.. Well I will be praying that everything comes out good for you in 2 weeks..
