What Are The Chances Of Twins With Clomid?

I was wondering who got pregnant with twins on clomid? Also, what was you mg? I'm just curious to know as much as possible about clomid. I start taking it next month. I would be overjoyed with twins so that is no problem at all. I have 2 children now that I conceived with no meds. However, my cycle is crazy now and it is hard to pinpoint my ovulation dates so my doctor wants to give me a little boost with clomid. What do you think my chances of twins would be with clomid?

I was on Clomid 100mg and found out at 6.5 weeks we were pregnant with twins. It was my second round of clomid.

My doctor told me I had an 8% chance of having twins with Clomid. One round of Clomid and BOOM! We just found out we're expecting twins yesterday. I'm seven weeks along.

I took 50mg of Clomid and got pregnant with the first dose. Unfortunately I miscarried very early on. After recovering, we decided to try again about 3 months later and I took 50mg of Clomid. Once again I got pregnant immediately and soon after we found out we were going to have twins! I am now 18 weeks with fraternals and they are doing great! I do have twins in my family, so I'm not sure if this is a good indicator for the average person, but I have heard of many women who conceived twins on Clomid.

I was on clomid for one cycle...my doctor said it was only a 10% chance of multiples :) I now have twin girls:)..should've played the lottery that week too!! However, my grandmother was a twin..so we don't know what to attribute the girls too..other than a blessing from God :)

I took Clomid for 4 months. I was supposed to go in after that for a HSG, but I was too late one month to get it done, then was on vacation the next month. The 3rd month I was off Clomid we found out we were having twins. One Dr. said it was spontaneous since it is only good for that month, the other Dr. said it was from Clomid. We don't know what to make of this, but we are happy no matter what!!! We are expecting identical twin boys any day now. I am 36weeks tomorrow.

It is possible, but not sure of the exact percent - ask your doctor for this. I used clomid for 3 months and nothing. Finally having twins after two rounds of IVF and a whole lotta IUI's before that.
