When Should I Pack My Bag, Get Stuff Ready, And Take Maternity Leave?

Hi everyone I am currently 24 weeks pregnant with non identical twins. I keep reading differnt things about when you should start packing your hospital bag. I went into early labour with my little boy at 30 weeks which they managed to stop, then the little monster came late. I have been reading, as this is my 4th pregnancy, that they would not be able to stop it this time. I also don't know when to start getting things ready. I done it last time when I was on maternity leave, but I am worried that I will go early and nothing will be done. My scans keep telling me that I am due around the start of December (day keeps changing) but I was sure that I was 4 weeks ahead of that due to my last period and things that are happing...ie, braxton hicks, movement of the babies etc. Could some of you give some advice?

My opinion

This is my first time with a twin pregnancy & I did not have premature labor with my other 2 pregnancies. From what I've read though, I was planning on having my bag packed & ready to go by 28 weeks. In fact, I just told my husband that plan last night!

Also, from what I've read too, it seems like most people that are pregnant with twins are taken out of work around 30 weeks. I hope this helps! Good luck!!
