How Soon Did You Know It Was Twins?

I've always wondered how soon a twin mom would know she was pregnant with twins. I know it's different for everyone but I can't help but ask.

Found out at 10 weeks. Went for my very first prenatal appointment where 2 heartbeats were heard then 2 babies and their flickering heartbeats were seen on an ultrasound. Explained the definate second line on the pregnancy test 13 days after conception and the violent morning sickness that began at exactly 6 weeks, which I had originally just put down to the fact that every pregnancy is different.

I feel as though I'm pregnant with twins i feel movement and kicking it started around 16 weeks i have my own doppler i listen to them everyday there is no missing it i just really want to know,

With my first twins pregnancy, I found out at 8 weeks. It was just an ultrasound to date the pregnancy. The second pregnancy, I felt exactly the same and was pretty sure it was twins again. Sure enough, at 6w 2d, the ultrasound found them both with their little hearts buzzing.

I found out when i was six weeks. I went to the er for abdomen pains and dehydration. I was also experiencing extreme nausea and vomiting. A few hours later i found out I had an ovarian cyst and TWINS!!! It was the shock of my life. I would have never thought it was more than one in there.

I was six weeks. I was feeling for a heart beat when I felt one on one side and the other on the other side. This is my second pregnancy and it has been taking more out of me then my first. I love all three of my kids.

My first visit at 6 weeks I asked for an ultrasound, and there happened to be twins! I was so glad I had that ultrasound.

I found out when I was 6 weeks pregnant that it was twins. I had an internal ultrasound down and we saw the two babies and heart beats! So amazing!

I found out when I was 7 weeks along (thought I was 8) but it was just by chance they did an u/s (some other underlying issues) and we found out we were blessed with twins. Otherwise I think it would have been at 20 weeks if the u/s wasn't ordered.

I officially found out around 10 weeks that I was pregnant with twins. However, I had a very strong feeling before finding out I was having twins. I couldn't even tell you why, since this is my first pregnancy! I guess the excessive morning sickness kind of helped in guessing :P

With my first set, I found out at 8 wks. With my second, I knew as soon as I confirmed my pregnancy, I had only felt that way with my twins and this was my 4th pregnancy so... I got visual confirmation at 9wks when I went into my U/S and told my doc, show me the twins!

my mom knew i was having twins at 5 weeks and i officially found out at 9 weeks.
