Starting Preschool

When did you start your twins in preschool? My twin boys are 3 1/2 years old and I don't know if they're ready. They're still kind of behind in their speech compared with other kids their age. They are also my only children, so I have no experience with starting school :-)

I started my tiwns (boy/girl) at preschool when they were 4 years old. I think a lot of parents send kids at this age because it's right before kindergarten at 5 years old. My son was not as talkative as my daughter was but he was way more active than her. It was really good for both of them and there was even another set of twins at the school which was cool. I think you should send them by the time they're 4 yrs even if they seem behind in some development. good luck!!
