"Oh, Did You Adopt One?"

I was traveling through the mall with my youngest twins(10 months),Rheagan and Raleigh. Rheagan looks like me, very dark skinned and black hair. While Raleigh looks more like her father, pale, freckles and light brown hair...

While I'm paying for something a lady walks up to the stoller and peeks at them, I smile and she looks at me oddly and asks "Oh, did you adopt one?"

I must have stared a hole into the woman as I told her. "Yep, and Gregor Mendel's recessive chart is full of crap." Even then she didn't get it... so I just left.

I love the genetics reference. People really do show their extremely high level of ignorance by the questions they ask.

hey yah I know what you mean but hav'ent had a stupid question like that juss yet my girl has dark hair, short and chubby,light skinned and our boy is pale skinned and blonde hair hes taller looks skinnier. They are now 6 mths, it is such a wonderful blessing to have twins. He looks a mth older than his sister. There names are Ezra & Malachi :D
