2 Sets Of Twins For Me!

We are currently expecting our 2nd set of twins. We have a 5 year old son and 3 year old twin daughters, and now expecting twin boys in the summer! These are unassisted pregnancies, so apparently my ovaries like to dump off more than one egg at a time! We are a little overwhelmed and wondering if anyone else out there has lived through such a baby boom!

HI I AM JESSICA I HAVE A SET OF TWINS THAT ARE 3YRS OLD A BOY AND GIRL. I AM ABOUT TO HAVE MY 2ND SET THEY ARE DUE IN FEB. I HAVE BEEN REAL SCARED I AM ON COMPLETE BED REST AND I AM ONLY 18 WKS. MY DOCTOR TOLD ME EVERY TIME I WOULD HAVE TWINS.

Hello, I am another mom of two sets of twins. I have two sets of identical twin boys. 18 years apart, with a daughter about half way in the middle of all the boys. All my boys are identical to each other except the older boys have darker hair. I would love to know if anyone else has ever had two sets of twins that all look identical.

Just wanted to add that I am now 31 weeks pregnant, and they are definitely both BOYS! So 7 boys and 1 girl for us. Craziness!

I haven't posted since my 28th week of pregnancy - but wanted to tell everyone that our twin boys were born July 19th 2009. I was only 32 weeks, so they spent some time in hospital but are home now and doing very well. Mason William was 4lbs, 2 oz. and Chase Edward was 4lbs. 12 oz.
It is INSANE having 5 kids ages 6 and under.. But they are precious, and I wouldn't send them back - however I do miss sleeping...:)

I have 4 singletons, 3 boys and a girl. I had my first set of twin boys in Nov. of 2006 and am now expecting my second set (hoping there is a girl in there!) in April 2010!

Congratulations!It was really overwhelming for us when we first found out about our 2nd set.My name is Andria and I have 2 sets of twins. My 1st set, 2 boys were born in April of 2007, My 2nd set is almost 5 mo old and are a boy and girl. Our lives are very busy right now. The older boys have adjusted really well and love being big "helpers" The are constantly wanting to hold one of the babies. I look forward to the days when the boys are a little less needy and the babies can entertain themselves a little more... The hubby and I always make an effort to spend quality time with each set by themselves as well as just the 2 of us. It has been a major strain on our marriage though... I am hoping as they all get a little older things will get a bit easier.
I love my kids so much and wouldn't change anything!!!!

I have a 6 year old girl and a 15 month old boy. The day that our son turned 1 we found out that we were pregnant again. The day after we found out that we were expecting twins (2 girls)!! I am not sure how this is all going to work out, but I hope that everything will...

Congrats on your second set as well! Looks like we are in the same boat for sure... I have noticed that I got big quickly this time (although I was huge with my daughters too!) I am now 28 weeks and I look like I am BEYOND full term :) Maybe we can get through this together.... Feel free to chat whenever you want :)

It's funny, but, I have a 5 year old daughter, and a set of twin daughters whose ages are 2.5 years. DH and I are now expecting our second set of twins due in December. Both twin pregnancies have been conceived naturally. So, you're not alone. How do you feel? Did you notice that you got big really fast? I've noticed that and I think it's because of my second twin pregnancy in a row. Anyhow, congratulations, nice to know you!

My stepsons are identical twins. #2 twin Michael married a faternal twin, Clarissa. They gave birth to twin boys (not sure if identical) who are 11 now. Had a daughter who is 7 and recently added another set of twins (faternal this time) a boy and a girl this past January 2009. These pregnancies were not assisted.
There were multiples on both sides of the family. My husbands' sister and brother were twins but no known twins on my boys' biological mothers' side. On my daughter-in-law's side, there have been a few different generations of multiples.
My other twin son #1 Sean has only one son, although he does wish to have twins someday (silly boy!)
