I Want To Know About Vaginal Birth Of Twins

by Jennifer
(Surprise, AZ)

I am 16 weeks pregnant with twins. For me this is baby 6 and 7. I have had all five natural and am so worried about a C-section. I want to know if anyone has delivered their twins vaginally and how it was.

vaginal birth

I had my frat twins (boy and girl) vaginally. Baby A was delivered no problem but because there was so much room for B to move around in... He needed to be pulled out. Then he got stuck and I had to have an episiotomy. All in all the labour and delivery went smoothly... They were born 13 minutes apart and baby A weighed 6lbs 2oz and baby B weighed 4lbs 13oz.
Good luck :) Ohh and my labour started at 8:30am and they were both delivered by 3pm!

I had my twins at 36 weeks. they were 3 min. apart, the second baby was breech. They were my 3rd and 4th children. The Dr. pretty much helped pull out the second born because when they are breech you can't waste much time or things can go wrong. The girls weighed 5 lbs. 12 0z. and
6 lbs.4 oz. healthy as could be Thank goodnes!

Overdue twins?

Even though this was not my question, I'm in exactly the same position. Twins are by 6th and 7th and have had vaginal delivery and was wondering if possible to have vaginal birth again. Another question is if all my others were late, is it possible this one will too?

I had my twins vaginally at 34 weeks. They were seven minutes apart! Once I was dilated, they turned off my epidural and it was show time!

I had 2 sets of twins vaginally
by: Andria

I am only 5 ft tall weighing about 120 lbs or so prior to both births. My babies all weighed right around 5 lbs 8 oz and they were all born at 35 wks. My 1st birth wasn't complicated but it took a long time to get my 2nd delivered. My 1st born came out fairly easily but going into it we knew it might be difficult for the 2nd one to come out because he was in there breach. They had to rotate him to be born head down. And even after they turned him, they had to use forceps. He did not want to come out! :) They were born 6 hrs apart!!! Which is EXTREMELY rare. We hold the record for our hospital. Most are born within minutes of each other. My second set was pretty much the same way, with the 2nd one being breach but they were only 2 1/2 hrs apart this time. It can be complicated but I would say that it could be no different than your others!! Good Luck and please don't let my story scare you because it sounds way worse than what it was. It was more exhausting than it was painful, I promise!!

Me too!

I also had my twins vaginally at 34 weeks. They were my first children, and I wasn't sure what to expect, but it wasn't too bad. Doc had to use the vaccuum on one and the forcepts on the other, but I'd take that anyday over a C-section. I suppose it all depends on what positions they are in when you go to deliver. Mine, fortunately, were both head-down. Good Luck!!

I had my twins vaginal and they were my first babys. For me they were no problems but it dep.on how your twins are by week 37. Then the doctors will tell you if you can have it vaginally or c-s.
My twins are now 8 months. Good luck.
