Our Beautiful Identical Twin Girls! - 3D Ultrasound

I was 16 weeks along when this 3D Ultrasound was done. We were pretty shocked when they told us that we were having girls. The technician said that she has never seen two babies in this position before. They are facing each other in a mirror image pose. We already have 2 girls and a boy so needless to say we are going to be busy!!

Just a ? When were u told u were having twins I got told at 21 weeks I wasn't having twins but my ultrasound pic looks a lot like urs one on the right and one on the left and they were facing each other almost looked like they were kissing....jw if I am having twins.

i am currently pregnant with twins identical girls i found out at 20 weeks i almost lost it i was hot didnt no how to feel because i am 22 yrs old and they dont run in my family

I am also having identical twins. I am 14 weeks pregnant. To answer the question below me, they can know whether or not twins are identical if they are monochorionic (sharing one placenta). They especially can tell if twins are identical if they are monochorionic/monoamniotic (in the same sac). My twins are monochorionic but there is a membrane separating the twins, so they are monochorionic/diamniotic. You would only have to have DNA testing done to figure out whether or not they are fraternal or identical if there are two sacs/two placentas. That is possible in both types of twinning.

how do you know for sure that they are identical while they are still in the womb?? pretty sure you have to have dna testing to know for for sure.

Wow!!! That is a perfect picture!!! We are hoping for at least one of our babies to be a girl. We already have 4 boys and a girl. Our daughter is 14 and wants a sister very badly! Congrats!!!
