Our Twins - 17 Week Ultrasound

by Deatrice
(Baltimore, MD)

Twin A always have a good picture and always still when I'm getting my ultra sound done. Twin B on the other hand is always moving and they can never get the pictures they want so that makes me have to go back every 4 weeks on these ultra sounds I am 17 weeks alone..

Hi there,
I had a 3d-4d ultrasound with my daughter, The 4d ultrasound is basically a 3d ultrasound movie.. if that makes sense, they give you a dvd of a 3d ultrasound image of your baby moving.. it is awesome and then you get a bunch of 3d pictures to take home and enjoy. I Definately recommend getting the 4D ultrasound. having a video of your baby moving while still in your belly is something I have treasured and already have scheduled for Feb for the twins I'm carrying now! Good Luck!

17 weeks pregnant with twins

My baby on the left is not so active, baby on the right is pretty active, I've only had two ultrasounds so far, due for my next ultrasound in 2 weeks, excited to find out there sexes, and from my understanding you have ultrasounds every 4-6 weeks depending on ur doctor and situation, I think that's nice because you get more chances to see your babies and be insured they're okay. Congrats on your pregnancy

I am currently 21 weeks with twin boys. I've been lucky enough to have an ultrasound at every monthly visit to see by babies. Boy A is very active and stretched out and baby b not quite as active. I also have trouble getting good pictures of one them each time. Congrats to you!

I'M CURRENTLY 16WKS PREGNANT WITH TWINS BUT I'VE ONLY HAD ONE SONOGRAM AND THAT WAS AT 8WKS WHEN I 1ST DISCOVERED I WAS PREGNANT. MY NEXT ONE IS SCHEDULED FOR FEB 8TH AND WE'RE SUPPOSE TO FIND OUT THE SEXES THEN TOO. BUT I'VE BEEN HAVING THE SAME REACTION FROM BABY ON THE LEFT, WAY MORE ACTIVE THAN BABY ON THE RIGHT....ANYONE KNOW WHY THAT IS???

I have about the same problem. We have been lucky enough to still get pictures of both almost every ultrasound but baby A is always doing flips and moving and baby B just hangs out and doesn't do more than maybe a twitch here and there. I'm 16 weeks due Jun 23, 2010. We get ultrasounds every couple weeks so I get to see them a lot which is very nice and comforting. Well good luck.
