Stretch Marks With Twin Pregnancy?

by Marin

I guess this really isn't a question about getting the stretch marks because I'm sure I won't be lucky enough to NOT to. But, does anyone have any advice on prevention or help? I want to start early before I get tooooo big. :) I'm only 18 weeks pregnant with my twins now.

Shea butter and sweet almond oil
by: Anonymous

I rub my belly with shea butter, sweet almond oil and vitamin E added. I'm 37 weeks pregnant and have only very tiny stretch marks. You need to be closed to my belly to see them.

Try cocoa butter

I used Bio oil religiously with my last pregnancy and i still got them, using Palmers cocoa butter this time just in case it works, but I think it's just down to your skin type at the end of the day.

Palmers!!

I have heard that Palmer's coco butter is irrefutably the best prevention for stretch marks. I am only 15 weeks but I am 5 ft tall so my belly has no where to go but out. So far it is working well and it smells great. My friend used it & even with a history in her family of stretch makrs she didnt get any. I also heard that the rubbing motion helps to prevent them so even if this isnt the product you decide on make sure you thoroughly massage it in even multiple times daily to stimulat extra blood flow to the skin. Good luck!!

I have been using COLOSTRUM gel, Vitamin C cream, and a Vitamin A oil that is safe to use while pregnant. It is from a medical line, Environ. The reason it works so well is because: We get stretch marks due to our bodies not creating collagen fast enough to keep up with the stretching, so by using products that help build collagen, you can help prevent the stretch marks.

Stretch Mark Help?
by: Cheri

Well, I am not sure as a guaranteed cure all, but I have been using "Fruit of the Earth" vitamin E skin care cream. I also has Aloe Vera, Wheat Germ, Sunflower Seed Oil, Colagen and Elastin in it along with others. I got it from Wal-Mart. This is my 4th pregnancy, so I started early. I don't have much in the way of stretch marks from my first 3 years ago, so I really don't know if this will work for sure or not, but theoretically it should. Of course there's the cocoa butter that Ali's daughter is advertising that is supposed to work too. I also heard that keeping yourself hydrated really helps. I don't know if that helps or not.
