The Twins

Well we are 13 weeks and a few days along...we found out 2 weeks about that Twin A has Pentalogy of Cantrell and if the baby survives the pregnancy he/she will not live very long after birth...this is complicated cause they are Mo/Mo twins...but for now they are both very active in the womb...we got this wonderful picture of them together...

 Mono Mono twins

Sorry to hear of your situation. I am 15 weeks along with mono mono twins. They are showing early signs of twin to twin transfusion syndrome. We just saw a specialist today that performs laser surgeries. We will go back in a week to see if anything has changed and if surgery would benefit the babies. It sounds like we may lose one of them because of the smaller baby's positioning on the placenta.

I am sorry to hear that, I lost one of my twins during my pregnancy. The doctors told me to abort my pregnancy the whole first 5 months. We refused. They told me they would be retarded, or die, and many other things. These were specialists too. It turned out that I had ttts and had laser surgery on the placenta. That caused the smaller twin to die, and as for my son, he is a healthy 8 year old. He has minor heart issues, but other than that, hes great. God does do miracles!

Oh, Ebony...I'm so sorry to hear that.

I was pregnant with mono/mono twins last summer. After many terrible diagnoses, my husband and I decided to terminate the pregnancy. I miss them everyday and regret our decision.

I'm so sorry about the mo/mo and other condition one of your twins is facing. (hugs)(hugs) I cannot imagine the rollercoaster of events that you are facing.
