34 weeks

34 weeks prego with fraternal twins. I have gained 50lbs. Things have been pretty rough. Very uncomfortable. Babies are low, head down and I'm 80% effaced. Been having pre term labor hoping to make it two more weeks.

I ended up having my boys a week after these pictures.... i also was goin gin twice aweek for nst. because i hwas having contractions for ever it felt like. i was dialated to a two for two weeks.. had lost my mucas plug already..(about 3.5 weeks before i had them) but i had my baby shower on saturday ...finally got all settled into my new house..got to go home for the first time in two weeks and went to bed woke up at 1 in the am to my water breaking.. i was in labor for 13 hours finally jackie came out vaginaly and than braxons heart rate dropped and we did an emergency c-section eleven minutes after jackie was born. scariest thing ever! jackie was 4.3 lbs and braxon 4.5 lbs.. norn on mothers day... 2:23pm and 2:34pm.. now they are almost three months old and both weigh exactly 9.05 lbs. joys of my life love them with everything. now to get my body back to the way it was before :(

I am 31 weeks now with fraternal twins, and weigh 40 lbs more! I am sure that I will make 5o lbs like you. You are the only one I have found that has about the same tummy as me! You're so beautiful, and look really good. But man do twins hurt the back!

 33 weeks and doctor checkups

I'm 33 weeks on Wed as well and the doc started checking me 2 weeks ago because I was doing a stress test and having a lot of contractions, so they wanted to make sure I was dilated, which I am already 2 cm. I go in twice a week for the stress test and they end up checking me each visit and I luckily haven't dilated any more. I've been in pain for several weeks as well. Hope these babies stay in until the scheduled date of June 7th. Good luck with everything.

I had my girls at 35 weeks. My Dr. never checked me for dilation. I believe it was because I was having a scheduled Csection anyway and he didn't want to introduce germs or infections down there. Anyway I told him that I had been hurting real bad like mid-May (2011) and this was in June when I let him know. He told me it was just braxton hicks. I went into labor 3weeks before my scheduled date and sure enough I was 4cm dilated. So I really think that I was in labor a majority of that time and he just kept saying that it was braxton hicks. But my girls are now 10months and healthy as can be.

Hello

I will be 33 weeks on Wed. and just wondering when does the doc start to check dilation/effacement being that im starting to get a lot of pains, which i believe is more the just BH.
