Congratulations to all of u ladies who had a successful IVF cycle and goodluck to those undergoing one. Unfortunately I just had an ICSI the other day and our embryo fertlised abnormally so unable to implant.:( We've been trying for 10yrs had failed IVF cycle before. So our only hope is to find a donor egg since i'm already 43yo and can't produce healthy egg.

So if anyone of u know someone with a generous heart who wanted to share the joy of being a Mum, kindly post your comments.

We're still hoping that one day i'll be able to experience being a Mum.

hello everyone,

i had my first ivf cycle this month, i am on 2 weeks wait period. one has passed, and other is still on. so nervous. sometime i get happy,and other times very upset onthinking what if it didn't happen this time. its very time consuming and money is a big factor as well.

i have almost read all of the articles on ivf or pragnancy symptoms. i think i have the symptoms like pregnancy, like hunger, fatigue, sore breast, crampings....plz i request to everyone who reads to pray for me that i get positive results.

Hello all - I am so excited! I just went through IVF for the first time....I'm 29 years old but had to remove my tubes because I kept getting unexplained PID infections.

I went through the implantation on June 7th and found out I'm pregnant June 21st. I'm very excited that IVF worked the first time for me.

Trust in god (that's what I did) and keep positive ladies!!!!

hi ive just had icsi from abroad and am waiting to test this wk and im so nervous for what will happen as me and my hubby went to great efforts to have this icsi cycle abroad and now come back and have to wait 2wks before you can do the test to see if the treatment was successful or not.i dont want to get excited for nothing just incase it goes the other way and on the other hand i have a good feeling hopefully if allah (god) wills i will be pregnant coz we have been through so much we have been trying for 13yrs,we had the ivf once then had fet 2 times and second time round i woz 8wks pregnant couldnt believe it then afew days later had a miscarriage which really broke me.soon after 1yr later i plucked up the courige to go abroad and have the icsi and im waiting on good news so can you all pray for me .may allah(god) listen to someones prayers on my behalf.good luck and congrats to all of you who have succeeded in there mission for a baby and have been blessed by 1 or 2 babys.hope everything works out for all of you. bye speak to u all soon

 IVF Twins as well

Well we found out this week that we are expecting twins. It is very early on, I am 6 weeks so we are cautiously excited! We have a 10 year old that came along without even trying and then we spent the next 9 years with secondary infertility. We went to 2 different doctors and of course nothing was wrong with us, unexplained infertility they called it. About 6 years ago we went through 7 cycles of IUI and had one miscarriage. We stopped trying for about 3 years because we just couldn't take it emotionally anymore. At the beginning of this year we decided to give it one more try and went the IVF route. It took the first time! Then we found out this week just how successful it was, both eggs took! I am just praying to get though the next 6 weeks quickly and safely but am very excited and hope that I can post my belly in the future. God luck to everyone!

I feel your joy when you get a positive preg. test and can only suggest that you wait on spreading the news. That first 12 weeks is so critical and I made the mistake of telling several people that I was pregannt after four weeks; I had to break the news six weeks later that we miscarried, which was devastating after two failed IVF attempts, at least wait until a heartbeat can be picked up. I am now 29 weeks with twin boys and did not tell anybody until about 12 weeks in. Good luck!

Hello ladies, remember me? well i just had my frozen embryos transfered on may 24th, and today is may 29 and i got 2 positives home preg. tests.... i go for my blood work on wed. june 3rd. i don't think i'm getting a false positive so that means that GOD has answered my prayers.
i am speechless.... i still can't believe that it finally happened to me. I can't wait to tell the world i'm going to be a mommy, and i can't wait to find out if i'm having twins.

I am in my 19th week of pregnancy with twins after a very long battle. I had two ectopic pregnancies during my first two years of marriage which caused me to lose both fallopian tubes and not be able to conceive naturally. After ten ivf cycles, I finally got pregnant with twins. What we did differently this cycle was that I didn't take hormons to produce many eggs but instead I went in every month to give the egg I produce naturally. It took 6 months to collect 2 eggs...yes...sometimes then dont' get it in time and other times they take it to early. I got the two eggs implanted and it worked first try this way. Apparently some woman eggs don't implant even if they seem normal because the hormons make them abnormal....this is very rare but it took me 6 years of Ivf to get my twins in my belly.

I am saying this for all the woman trying to conceive. Stay positive and don't let it get you don't because it will happen if not this cycle, next cycle. Don't give up and you'll get what you want in the end. I never thought it would work after so many years, but it di

I am pregnant with twin boys and 24 weeks, It still does not feel real, maybe when they actually come out and I see their little faces reality will kick in. It has been a long emotional battle, so whnen you see the posts about people getting pregnant with twins on the first try, emember that it might not work for everybody; not to put a damper on others happiness, but the doctors can say everything is perfect and it might not always take. Through this long battle pregnancy is truly a blessing.

Well I had my transffer on 03/20/09, ten days later found out it didn't work.... what a dissappoinment....
the doctors were very surprised that it didn't work, because everything in my case was text book... :-(
Today is April 29th and in just 2 days when my cycle starts againg i'll be staring to take pills to be able to try one more time with my frozen embryos. I reallllllly hope it works this time.

Hi - I also am 20 weeks w/ our 2nd set of twins, all IVF babies - we know what blessings they are! You can see my post '36 weeks and about to burst' of my giant belly days before delivering our 1st set (boys - now 6, almost 7). I'm much larger than you and some other ladies I've seen post on here at 20 weeks - all out front again - I'll post a pic soon...so far I've only gained 5 lbs this pg...guess we all just carry differently! This time around we have a boy and a girl! Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy!
